  Today the primary concern of the universities is to generate science and knowledge. The universities, therefore, are considered as centers of Science Production. The development of the society can be possible by the attempts made by the knowledgeable professors and hardworking students. And these are students who pave the way for the scientific, educational and research progress using their own creativity, innovation and taking advantage of the teachers` guidance and facilities of the universities.
  Founded 27 years ago by the Late Imam Khomeini s  precious support, Islamic Azad University has an educational and recreation understructure of 13000000 m2. During this period, more than 2800000 students have graduated from the university. At present, 1500000 students are studying in 357 Branches nationwide and abroad.
 
   Offering a friendly atmosphere with 30000 faculty members, 31000 staffs, more than 50 Research Centers, 10 hospitals and 114 SAMA faculties and 600 SAMA schools, Islamic Azad University is the biggest university of the world. Investing on the Science production, IT movement, establishing of centers for Modern Technologies, Digital libraries, Development of Virtual Education and so more, Islamic Azad University is to reach the high objectives of education through training capable, dynamic  and dedicated individuals.
